Personal development is PERSONAL which means what’s right for me in the stage of life that I’m in, might not be right for you. I encourage you to shop around and sample a few books before diving in! I’ve had some books that I started at a time I wasn’t receptive to the info and came back to it a different time and it spoke to me much more! It all depends on what your goals are, what you struggle with, where you want to grow! Check out some of my favorite books I’ve read so far.

Personal Development Routine

Incorporating some sort of personal development into my daily routine has been huge! I notice that when I consistently read or listen to personal development, I am happier, feel better about myself and am more confident. Here are some tips for incorporating personal development into your routine.

  • Wake up 30 minutes earlier and read or listen to personal development first thing in the morning.
  • Listen to a podcast or audio book while you’re getting ready for the day or during your commute to work.
  • Read or listen to personal development 10-15 minutes before you go to bed.
