Coach Mastermind Retreat Recap: 3 Takeaways

A couple weeks ago, I went on a coach mastermind retreat. This is a retreat I earned through helping other women getting started in their own health and wellness and helping women start their own wellness businesses. This is the second retreat I’ve earned and it’s truly just the beginning. One day, I’ll be hosting my own mastermind retreats for my own leaders on my team and I am just so excited for that day! Here are my 3 takeaways from this retreat.

Mastermind Retreat Recap #1: Community is everything

I have to start with community because truly this community is like no other. Usually when you get a bunch of women together in one place, you might think cattiness or not getting along but on our team all we want to do is lift everyone up, make sure everyone is included, share whatever we can and enjoy life together. Most of the women who went to this retreat, I had never met before but it didn’t matter. Everyone is fast friends and really just wants to hear each other’s stories and why we’re here, doing what we’re doing.

My favorite part of retreats is the informal masterminds. Yes, we have a ton of incredible trainings from other entrepreneurs but the informal, chatting over wine is the best. It’s in those moments you realize that these women are all just normal people and if they can achieve incredible success, so can you.

Of course another community aspect is the team bonding with silly games, dance competitions, truth or dare, etc. It’s so fun to get to know everyone a little deeper, make friends and have a community of women who you can build a business with but also enjoy a game and glass of wine!

Mastermind Retreat Recap #2: Validation you’re in the right place

Another key part in going on this mastermind retreat was the validation that I am where I’m supposed to be. Through all the conversations, community building and trainings my fire was relit and the passion I have toward this business is even bigger than it was before retreat.

Going to this mastermind retreat also validates that you are a leader in this business and you are seeing success. As an entrepreneur, there are so many ups and downs in business and often you have to overcome limiting beliefs. Going on a retreat, validates that you’re on the right track and also that the other women there have their own limiting beliefs but everyone is working through them and rising above together.

Mastermind Retreat Recap #3: Leadership opportunities to move your business forward

Of course the biggest piece of this mastermind retreat was the opportunities that move your business to the next level. On this retreat, we were SPOILED! Trainings, swag, photoshoots! I am so grateful for these opportunities because these are all things that help me build my business. These are things I get to take to my team and help them build their businesses. And these photos I get to use to share my story on social media and help another mama.

After getting to go on a retreat like this, you leave with a different mindset. You leave with a fire and a passion even deeper than you had before. You leave as a true leader and with your head a little higher. And the important part to that is you take that mindset into the actions you take. Now, you get a little more outside your comfort zone because you have a deeper confidence in yourself and your business.
